21 day keto 20

Welcome to day 20 of
The 21 Day Keto Challenge

Today were going to review! Short Read 1-3 mins.

By Cassius Fragomeni

If you were following my meal plan you’re probably incredibly bored of eating the same thing everyday and I want you to be ready for when you go off on your own moving forward to create your own diets. This website has a repository of recipes sourced from all sorts of keto blogs which can be found on our keto page. As for your nutrition plan and counting macros…

Use the website in this link to build your meal plans!

I know it’s much easier to follow a plan, but creativity is some of what makes meal planning fun. You know what foods you like, remember the key to succeeding in any diet is of course building it around your tastes. If you hate boiled eggs as much as I do you’ll never last eating boiled eggs.

You can take time to experiment and play around with the calculator, just remember you are aiming for a certain macro split and it’s absolutely key that you don’t overeat carbs so take extra care when building your own meal plans going forward. If you truly don’t want to ever build your own plan you can click on this link to buy our Ultimate Keto Guide, which has more recipes, meal plans and info then you could ever even need!

The Science behind

Your body normally runs on carbohydrates, the sugar/wheat/rice/starches you eat are loaded with these carbs which are broken down and used as a main energy source for the body on a normal diet.

Ketosis is the state in which the body is running off of fats instead..

It requires cutting your carbohydrates to no more then a maximum of 10% of your total diet, and even then you want to aim for 5-8% so you can leave yourself some room for little snacks here and there that won’t knock your out of ketosis. The body takes the fats and breaks them down into ketone bodies which are used by the body as an alternative fuel source.

Ketosis causes your body to retain water at a lesser rate and so it’s important to stay hydrated. Drink a minimum of 4L of water daily and increase your sodium intake as your body in Ketosis hold onto sodium much less efficiently. Salt & Water are your friends, Carbs are not.

If you are nervous moving forward all alone, I do offer coaching whether it be in person if you happen to live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Or online through Skype or whatever platform you prefer to chat on.

This page contains all of the amazon affiliate links for any products we referenced and all things keto related that I can earn a slice off if you purchase via my affiliate link. Every little bit helps!

Finally, if you simply want to chip in to show some support for what I’ve done with this website I have a patreon page set up where you can support the site monthly with a small gift, anything from 1$ and up makes a big difference and helps keep the lights on at Cassiuswsb!

That was Day 20, a light recap with a bit of plugging for the website. If you still need more info refer to the Keto page on the website itself it’s jam packed full of information for you to refresh yourself or show friends the reasoning behind some of the stuff you are doing on this keto diet.

Tomorrow your challenge is complete and we say goodbye to eachother!

Have a fucking epic day and get that scale/camera ready, I’ll see you then 🙂
